Financial hardship assistance

Some CUA members will face financial difficulty due to any number of circumstances. These may include:

  • Unemployment
  • Reduced working hours
  • Illness
  • Relationship breakdown

Whatever the case, CUA can offer financial hardship assistance to members facing these situations.

Can anyone use this service?

Yes. All members of CUA are able to use the financial hardship assistance service in times of financial difficulty. CUA is committed to assisting and supporting any members facing financial hardship.

CUA has an effective relief package in place that allows maximum flexibility for members suffering financial hardship. Members who are going through, or will go through, the process of losing their jobs, have options to allow them grace from the stress of having to find the money to service their loans.
